Little paper tags on tea bags that fall in your tea.
You pour scalding hot water over the tea bag, and that fiddly little tag falls in, either causing you to dig it out with a spoon or your fingers, or ignore it and endure the chemical ink from the tag, tainting your beverage.

Friends that constantly complain about their weight or flaws, but balk at common sense solutions.
Friend: "oh my ass is soooo huge, yuck" Me: "you look okay to me, but if you are concerned let's go for a walk tomorrow, or maybe have a salad" Friend: "nah, walking hurts my legs and salad gives me migraines" Also called " complaining for attention" or "fishing for compliments" and " not willing to cut down on big mac's"

Thanks to a recent torrent of spam, I’ve had to disable comments for a while. I’ve now removed the ability to put links in the comments. Email me if you want to put something in, such as five links to knock-off handbag sites, and I’ll happily oblige.

I’ve added two features to the sidebar: Highest Rating and Hotly Debated. They will be updated daily. To my surprise, the ketchup-in-fridge peeve seemed to really incite some anger — it’s clearly a complex situation that affects us all.

It should be noted that the star ratings indicate how much you agree with, or appreciate, the peeve, not how you feel when it happens.

I will be adding a Paragon Peeves section as well, for my and my friends’ personal favorites.
