Using mobile phones at the register.
I work nights as a grocery store cashier and I'm sick and tired of people coming up to my register on their mobile phones. It always seems to be the people who are awful at multitasking, so it slows up my line--which can negatively affect my performance reviews--and it's just plain rude. Unless you're a doctor walking an intern through a life-saving procedure, why not quit your lame-ass conversation and actually interact with the human being in front of you. I may only earn minimum wage, but you might find the experience pleasurable all the same.

I’ve added two features to the sidebar: Highest Rating and Hotly Debated. They will be updated daily. To my surprise, the ketchup-in-fridge peeve seemed to really incite some anger — it’s clearly a complex situation that affects us all.

It should be noted that the star ratings indicate how much you agree with, or appreciate, the peeve, not how you feel when it happens.

I will be adding a Paragon Peeves section as well, for my and my friends’ personal favorites.
