The fact that the weather reports daily icon always show the most unpleasant aspect of the day's weather, though it may only account for a few minutes of activity.

If there is a rain storm which, during the summer, only lasts about ten minutes, the icon for the entire day will show a thunder cloud, causing you to despair and cancel outdoor engagements. But in reality the rest of the day is dry and quite pleasant. Are the weather reporters this desperate for action?

Also, have you noticed that it's hard to get weather histories from prioir day(s)? If the weather felt particularly hot or cold, it might take me a day to get around to finding out how horrid the conditions were that I'd survived. Unless truly recordbreaking, its hard to get online info about it.

Grubby, tangled haired children. » Keeping clean is one thing; the kids I see don't even start out clean. Parents and kids both seem to roll out of bed and go to the local WalMart (where else?) without so much as running as hairbrush through their hair or taking a bar of soap to their bodies. I think we can be quite sure they don't know what a toothbrush is for! The trend of wearing pajama bottoms in public needs to stop as well. – Mindy 7/26
