When people ask to try on my eyeglasses.

Darling, you look oh-so-gorgeous in my frames. Much better than I could ever look. There are you happy? No? You also have to tell me that my prescription is super weak/strong?

I know, I know, I'm blind. You don't need to point it out after trying on my glasses. Hell, I can't even tell what they look like on you because I CAN'T SEE WITHOUT THEM.

Guilty ;( we're just jealous of people with glasses because there's something somewhat unique about them, whereas we have to settle for 20/20 vision.

my mom dis that the other day. "let me see how you see with your glasses on," she said. i said, "you won't be able to see with my glasses on, because your eyes are fine." but she did it anyway and then screeched, exclaimed about how blind i am and then gave them back. *sigh*

Thanks to a recent torrent of spam, I’ve had to disable comments for a while. I’ve now removed the ability to put links in the comments. Email me if you want to put something in, such as five links to knock-off handbag sites, and I’ll happily oblige.

I’ve added two features to the sidebar: Highest Rating and Hotly Debated. They will be updated daily. To my surprise, the ketchup-in-fridge peeve seemed to really incite some anger — it’s clearly a complex situation that affects us all.

It should be noted that the star ratings indicate how much you agree with, or appreciate, the peeve, not how you feel when it happens.

I will be adding a Paragon Peeves section as well, for my and my friends’ personal favorites.
