When you are introduced to someone repeatedly and yet they continue to act like they have never seen you before, every time.

Amen!! I was once introduced to the same guy no less than 6 times and he always cut me off with "nice to meet you," thankfully, before I got to say, "oh, we've met." WTF? I know his name sounded like a french bastardization of Coolio, but am I not memorable as well? ;-)

I was dating a guy for a little while who's ex (with whom he was still friends) used to do that to me every time I saw her. Passive aggressive much?

oooh. that's a good one

This is so irritating! I never know if they're doing it passive-aggressively or not, but of course they will use the 'im not good with names' excuse. My name is the first and only thing you should know about me. Manners much?

You must be meeting me over and over again. I have a very difficult time remembering people I've met. I have to focus and make and extreme point to remember people, or I forget almost right away.

Ooops, I'm guilty of this too. It's definitely not passive agressive, there are just so many people I meet for five minutes then go months without seeing. My memory is not so great and all the college kids I know kinda look the same. Also, drinking is sometimes a factor. : P

I have a city inspector I deal with 4-5 times a year at my job, and have known him for at least ten years. It seems that he not only forgets my name, but my face - he reintroduces himself to me every time! Then, to top it off, the guys in my dept. who deal with him say he not only remembers their names, but clearly knows MY name, because he uses it in conversation with THEM, such as "I need to go see Abra now." I really don't get it.

It's terrible, but there's this one woman I have met 7 times, without the slightest exaggeration. I just ran into her on the street, and I didn't know who she was again. There's something about her face that is poignantly unmemorable. This time I focused on her teeth so I could remember her next time.
