My mother does this all the time. My mother always says, "Too bad we're so fat." referring to both me and her--even when I used weigh about 110 pounds.

Denise, my mom does the exact same thing! And when I was a 115-pound teenager and my sister was a 75-pound middle schooler, my overweight mother would say, "Don't we wish we were that small?" Sigh.
