Calling it Turkey Day.
Just say Thanksgiving. The only reason to call it Turkey Day is to be cute, and it's not cute, so cut it out. Plus, why do people say stuff like, "I can't wait for turkey!" or "Enjoy the turkey!"? Turkey's not THAT great. I mean, it's not the part that I am like OH YES about. Wine and pie is a lot more exciting. Even stuffing. Stupid turkey.

We don't even bother with turkey--instead, we did it up this year and made filet mignon. Turkey is for suckers!

What pisses me off about this meal, too, is that even though I am a vegetarian (and have been for 15 years) some people in my family still ask me why I am a vegetarian and if I might eat something with chicken broth in it, "what would happen?" Also, when people assume I will eat food that is next to meat on a plate. Or when I am made to feel bad because I don't eat meat because it makes it more "difficult". Besides, vegetables are amazing, and I total agree about the stuffing comment, stuffing is the best part (vegetarian for me, of course!).
