The word 'hubby' in place of 'husband'
We get it, you're married, middleaged, and don't possess a sense of embarrassment. I hate you. And so does your hubby!

My husband hates 'hubby' too. And so do it. So I call him 'husband'. I mean, he doesn't call me Wifey or any such crap. And I hate when people abbreviate family in general: DH for "dear husband", DD for "dear daughter". JUST SAY HUSBAND OR DAUGHTER. Is it that hard to type, you lazy asses?

Yes, DH/DD/DS etc, yes!

My husband actually calls me Wifey... drives me crazy!

This drives me CRAZY and yet the other day a "hubby" slipped out of my mouth while referring to someone else's dude. FUCK I was embarassed, like I had farted or something.

God I hate that word! It sounds so infantile and kind of forced, like you're trying very hard to be cute.
