when websites require long and complex passwords
i just want my password to always be vanilla. always. i don't need 12 characters and 3 numbers and an illegible captcha so that no one can break into my account on Fire Fly Watch.

Someone broke into my Facebook account and send a message like "Some1 haz a cruhs on u!!!!!11" to all my friends. Now my FB account has a more complex password than like, my online banking. Stupid.

And why don't they tell you what they require (i.e. minimum 8 characters of letters, numbers and at least one esoteric symbol) until you enter one that is "wrong"?!!

A lot of this stuff is to prevent spam automation from getting in there — not actual people.
