Hugging every time we see each other.

I go to work, and I have to hug every person I pass when we all get to work. Honestly, I saw you 12 hours ago - Really? I'm still fine, it's still goin ok, still nothing up. I try to brush bye with a quick, 'Hey!' And somebody will say, 'What? No hug?' WHY?

There is a definitely a too-many hugs problem, and another peeve: when someone hugs everyone a group except YOU, or you don't feel lik hugging one person but don't want to be exclusionary.

I'm a hugger and my friends are huggers ~ opposite gender, same gender, in private or in public, it doesn't matter ~ we show our affection upon arrival and at departure. That said, unless it is a special occasion (a birthday, or someone's last day on the job, etc) hugging is personal and work is supposed to be professional.

I like hugs. Although hugging at work is kind of weird. Also you shouldn't be hugging people you don't want to hug? Duh.
