Inappropriate windshield wiper speeds.

If you're at a stoplight and it's drizzling, your wipers don't need to be working so frantically that they screech across the windshield.

How about not being able to find an adequate WSW speed? In Michigan, slop and snow and drizzle make this a challenge. I have to hit the wiper switch more than I hit my brakes!

It bothers me even more when my wipers don't go in tempo with the song playing on my radio.

Your pet peeve is fairly common. My pet peeve: people thinking that what my windshield wipers are doing is any of their business. I think I'm going to start driving around with them on at top speed. All the time.

Nikki, I think you're getting the wrong impression from this post. But, if you want to go about wearing down your wipers and potentially damaging your windshield, knock yourself out. My wipers slow or speed themselves up depending on how fast the vehicle is going, which is helpful. But, there is always that 'raining just enough to need wipers, but not enough to need them on even the slowest speed' which is annoying. Then you get that SCREECH/DRAAAAG sound. Awesome.

I had a car a few years back that had an intermittant setting for the wipers that was adjustable! If it was very light rain, I could slow it to every 10 seconds or so, or I could speed it up to every 2 seconds if it wasn't quite enough for the main setting.
