Awkward phone talkers.

People who have no concept of phone rhythm and have no insight into their disorder. I talk, then you talk. For normal people this feat is easily accomplished. Not I talk and you talk while I am talking, leading to 'You go ... No, you go' or worse, the insertion of long, unnecessary pauses prompting the immediate mouthing on my end of WTF while I imagine what it would be like to pull off one of my fingernails. I don't care if texting will charge them whatever amount per text, it's cheaper than me smashing my phone against their head .

LOL! This is my dad you're talking about! He's so annoying. He constantly interrupts, never listens, and also, Never says Good-bye! Just hangs up. Agghh! Worse, calls me 3-4 times a day with Nothing to Say!!

Thanks to a recent torrent of spam, I’ve had to disable comments for a while. I’ve now removed the ability to put links in the comments. Email me if you want to put something in, such as five links to knock-off handbag sites, and I’ll happily oblige.

I’ve added two features to the sidebar: Highest Rating and Hotly Debated. They will be updated daily. To my surprise, the ketchup-in-fridge peeve seemed to really incite some anger — it’s clearly a complex situation that affects us all.

It should be noted that the star ratings indicate how much you agree with, or appreciate, the peeve, not how you feel when it happens.

I will be adding a Paragon Peeves section as well, for my and my friends’ personal favorites.
