People who insist you repeat unimportant things.
You're in a conversation with a friend and you make a bad joke or something, and they either don't hear it or don't understand it. You say "nevermind" or "don't worry" or "it's not important," but that's not good enough for them. They insist you tell them what it was. And you don't want to, cause it was dumb or embarressing or in some otherway useless. But the push the issue and eventually you tell them and their dissappointed cause it was dumb and you're mad that they didn't take your word for it a leave it alone.

Totally, but the quest for knowledge is insatiable.

I'd bet most of the people who do this have dealt with passive-aggressive or otherwise manipulative people in their lives, though -- because with those people there really is something important to have heard. If they say "nothing," they're lying. Which is one more reason on an endless list of why to avoid these types.

Ugh. That does sound annoying. I hate it when my boyfriend constantly asks me what I said when I said something loudly and clearly and he just wasn't paying attention the first time.
