People who say "schedule" to sound like "shedule".

Why have they picked this word to pronounce that way?! How do they say "school"? Or "schooner"? "Scheme"? Or what about "schizophrenic"?!

I just realized that I've never known how to properly pronounce "schooner." Luckily for me, it is not a word that comes up in my conversations much. (And yes, before today, I would have pronounced it "shooner." hah!)

Yes, it's annoying. But FYI it's not "people", as in "random individuals who've simply decided to buck the norm and annoy you". It's how the word is pronounced in England. Those people are generally called "British". Also, it's not people who "say schedule to sound like shedule." Just, no. How about "People who pronouce 'schedule', 'shedule'"
