Women who sit stone still, quiet as a mouse, for excessive periods of time waiting to be the only person in the bathroom before taking a dump.
Is this intended to prevent the rest of us from discovering that she too has bowel movements? I was never fooled.

I do this. It's a combination of shyness/ it stresses me out to have that moment interrupted by gabbing coworkers or that woman who takes 5 minutes to wash her hands and fluff her hair. I think she's the real perp in this case.

I'm not sure. I have walked into the bathroom at work while someone was in a stall peeing, and they stopepd MID PEE, and did not start up again till I left. I was really creeped out not only by the fact that they were so self concious about peeing withing hearing range of someone else, that I got really self concious that they were just listening to me pee... then it just got weird.

I have no problem with public bathroom shitting -- but LOTS of other women do, and you can never tell who will use it as a weird reason to judge you and argue that you have no manners or were raised by wolves or whatever. I think a fair number of women who aren't freaked out by their bodies' processes are in the same boat and just prefer not to risk the weirdness/dirty looks/horrified whispers.

Ok, ok, I do this. But what about the women who walk in on the person trying to have some privacy and then TAKE THEIR SWEET TIME knowing the silent one is waiting?? I mean, do you really need to spread out the makeup buffet and brush your teeth right then or can you come back in 5 minutes??
