Accidentally launching Photoshop.

Get an Apple G5 and it launches in less than eight seconds. I used to have the same complaint, too. (Also, having like 1200 fonts on your computer can cause longer loadtimes.)

I put it far away from other programs on the dock, buffering it with something I never use.

ROFL! Thanks for that great laugh, I know exactly what you mean. For those not in the know, Photoshop is a high quality image editor developed by Adobe, in which many of their products are known for taking at least 30 seconds to load up. It is an major annoyance because takes up much system resources such as processing and memory....not to mention once you open it, you have to wait for it to finish loading. There is no Cancle or Stop button. (You're free to close it after loading though.)

Accidentally launching anything is annoying. Especially on my overworked pc at my office.

I hate it when I just want to look at a picture in preview and photoshop launches instead. There should be some tag beyond .jpg to warn you.

Thanks to a recent torrent of spam, I’ve had to disable comments for a while. I’ve now removed the ability to put links in the comments. Email me if you want to put something in, such as five links to knock-off handbag sites, and I’ll happily oblige.

I’ve added two features to the sidebar: Highest Rating and Hotly Debated. They will be updated daily. To my surprise, the ketchup-in-fridge peeve seemed to really incite some anger — it’s clearly a complex situation that affects us all.

It should be noted that the star ratings indicate how much you agree with, or appreciate, the peeve, not how you feel when it happens.

I will be adding a Paragon Peeves section as well, for my and my friends’ personal favorites.
