When ethnic restaurants have numbers on their menus, but when you refer to a number, the employee still asks you to describe the order.

This is very consistent with Chinese restaurants.

I HATE when I go to this local Chinese restaurant, or there's even this Sushi place...You order by number and they still don't understand what you're saying. This is more annoying when trying to order on the phone. Last time I did it they had to get an "american" I guess on the phone so I could say "I would like a number 2 please, for delivery"

I’ve added two features to the sidebar: Highest Rating and Hotly Debated. They will be updated daily. To my surprise, the ketchup-in-fridge peeve seemed to really incite some anger — it’s clearly a complex situation that affects us all.

It should be noted that the star ratings indicate how much you agree with, or appreciate, the peeve, not how you feel when it happens.

I will be adding a Paragon Peeves section as well, for my and my friends’ personal favorites.
