I also hate when men walk around with one hand clamped around the back of their girlfriend's neck as they walk...as if they are steering them through the world. I see this a lot on the weekend for some reason. gross.

My husband does this all the time. When we're 'together', he's usually walking about ten feet in front of me. I have to walk with the kids, because otherwise they'd have road rash from him dragging them along because they walk 'too slow'. I've told him it's very rude but he doesn't care.

I've had girlfriends that have chosen to walk behind me, and I had to ask them not to do it. I could never understand whether they actually believed it was the right thing to do, or if they had just been conditioned into doing it by previous boyfriends. Either way, it's fucked up.

Or worse, hot girls walking in a direction where I can't see their face. LET ME SEE YOUR HOT FACE!

I saw this happens, but due to cultural.

My ex did this to me several times. What a dickbag. Once it was so off the charts I had to call his name and tell him "stop!"

I hate that shit. Way to be gentlemen, guys!

I had an ex who would do this -- he was always rushing me as though we were on our way to some crucially important appointment or something. I started just randomly walking off in another direction and ditching him every time he did it; when he turned around to say something to me, I'd be gone. Very effective.

My husband does this to me all the time, especially when I'm wearing heels and can't walk as fast or his friend is with us and they are talking and don't realize that I'm not there.

My husband does the complete opposite, he is constantly walking behind me and I even slow down all the time to walk with him but it never lasts. The view couldn't be THAT good back there. I just wanna walk and hold hands!

My husband does this to me a lot, but it's mainly because his legs are 6 inches longer than mine and his strides are longer.
