Zippers that don't quite zip up all the way, and so begin to zip down instead.

I have a lot of used -- uh, sorry, *vintage* -- clothing, so this irks me regularly.

I thought this problem was finally solved by YKK's patented self-locking zippers, but after about ten years' of use, the YKK on my Sergio Valente jeans is now vulnerable to the plague of gravity, too.

I have actually resorted to using a safety pin on the zipper of one pair of treasured cords...never quite worked all the way, but added some adrenaline to my day.

I’ve added two features to the sidebar: Highest Rating and Hotly Debated. They will be updated daily. To my surprise, the ketchup-in-fridge peeve seemed to really incite some anger — it’s clearly a complex situation that affects us all.

It should be noted that the star ratings indicate how much you agree with, or appreciate, the peeve, not how you feel when it happens.

I will be adding a Paragon Peeves section as well, for my and my friends’ personal favorites.
